25: Meenadchi: Healing Generational Trauma & Letting Go Of What Is Not Yours To Carry
“There are certain things that only a few can fill our cup, replenish us and be able to sew the broken pieces, helping us go back to a more resourced space.”
While we are all equipped to hold something, we expect others to do the same. But it’s helpful to know that we each have differences in adapting accordingly and communicating our thoughts effectively. That’s why we must deepen our capacity to hold space for others and build emotional awareness.
So this episode, Menaadchi and I discuss Non-Violent Communication to heal intergenerational trauma and let go of things that are not ours to carry. Meenadchi is a somatic healing practitioner whose work centers on the softness of meeting our best self and deepening into our collective light. Using a blend of Family Constellation Therapy and Non-Violent Communication, Meenadchi supports inquisitive individuals and entrepreneurial changemakers in reconnecting with the intuitive wisdom of your bodies so that we can co-create intergenerational healing by changing the way we speak to ourselves, each other, and the universe.
Even when we are already healed and we help other people heal, there are still spaces where healing is needed.
Exceptional Highlights
- We all have different capabilities that we can hold, and some of us can hold trauma like it doesn't feel overwhelming. And we must recognize that there is a gap in each individual's capacity to set boundaries and expectations so we can still show up in the relationship.
- It's freedom and worth it to internalize the factors that shaped us and understand how to show up better for each other and with each other while honoring one's capacity. So we take less responsibility for other people's behaviors and actions.
- Joy is a deep sense of warm trust and warm faith in the core of my stomach. And going back to this kind of place is a big thing.
